Good Artists Ship

Good artists ship.

I totally stole that from Seth Godin. I'm pretty sure he stole it from someone else. But we're all standing on the shoulders of giants, amiright?!

It's a sub-motto/strategic principle of this site. I don't want to belabour my posts, waiting for perfection to be magically gifted upon the umpteenth draft of a post. So this site will inevitably be riddled with errors, and half-baked ideas.

But that's okay. I'm not perfect. Neither are you. I'm just going to give ourselves a break and get that out of the way.

New Podcast Find: The Broad Experience

My goal for this site is to do basically what Ashley Milne-Tyte is already doing with The Broad Experience. She bills it as, "a conversation about women, the workplace, and success." I can only dream to reach the heights she hits.

I'm a new listener (how?!) but I'm addicted. The upside of being late to the party on a podcast is that there are hours of streaming glory to which I can binge-listen. Already, I have too many favourite episodes to mention. From women taking over the family business, to money v. fulfillment, to image, she tackles everything I'm I want to dig into.

Love it. Listen.

The beginning

I want a way to remind myself of the good advice

But also, good advice is hard find. Hard. Especially for a female-identified person in the workplace. This is a place to collect my thoughts, and one day turn into a resource for others.
